MaintenanceNet, Inc. Selected to Implement Nationwide, Web-Enabled Service Registration Program For Leading Electronics Manufacturer
Agreement Calls for MaintenanceNet to Build Comprehensive Data Core and SaaS-Based Supply Chain Application to Increase Service Revenues and Shareholder Value

CARLSBAD, CA – July 23, 2007-- MaintenanceNet, Inc., the leading provider of maintenance contract management services, today announced that it has entered into a long-term contract to implement a nationwide program for managing registration entitlement certificates for one of the top electronics manufacturers in the world. Through the program, the manufacturer's entire channel network will be able to take advantage of a MaintenanceNet-powered web portal to track professional services sold with leading brands, including a line of laptops selling at a rate in excess of 20,000 units per month.

Under terms of the contract, MaintenanceNet will first build a comprehensive entitlement data core that integrates registration, warranty and service contract data from multiple entities and sources across the supply and demand chain. The data core will allow centralization of asset and warranty systems and processes, making it easier for sales teams and channel partners to track service lifecycles, take action on available service renewal opportunities, and measure service sales performance.

"MaintenanceNet has commanded the attention of the world's leading technology companies by providing a very unique value proposition," Herron said. "Our data-driven solutions have transformed the way organizations manage their customer lifecycles, driving important new revenue streams that deliver significant shareholder value while also breathing new life into partner relationship management."

Through the program, MaintenanceNet will support product lines with annual revenues in excess of $700 million and annual service revenues of more than $26 million. According to Shayne Skaff, EVP of business development for MaintenanceNet, the overall effort will set the stage for increased revenues and higher shareholder value for the manufacturer.

"On average, only 60 percent of professional services purchased by end customers even get registered with manufacturers, which can lead to millions of dollars in lost service renewal opportunities as well as the risk of non-coverage for the end customer on critical assets," said Skaff. "MaintenanceNet gives manufacturers the ability to overcome these challenges, with proven practices that can literally double existing registration rates while driving substantial increases in service renewal and technology refresh opportunities."

Since 2001, MaintenanceNet has been providing manufacturers, distributors and value-added resellers (VARs) alike with proven techniques and technologies for uncovering new service sales opportunities surrounding expiring service contracts, unattached assets (products sold without service agreements) and warranty and product registration. MaintenanceNet differentiates its software as a service (SaaS) offerings by integrating data from multiple companies and multiple data sources along the supply and demand chain into a single, unified software application. The result is complete visibility into service contract management – spanning manufacturers, channel partners, end customers and every touch point in between.
