MaintenanceNet Selected by Insight Enterprises for New Supply Chain Portal
Leading Global IT Solution Provider Relies Upon MaintenanceNet to Manage Service Contract Life Cycles for All HP Products Sold in United States

Carlsbad, Calif. – April 02, 2007 -- MaintenanceNet, Inc., the leading provider of maintenance contract management services, today announced that it has been selected by Insight Enterprises(“Insight”), a leading provider of information technology (IT) hardware, software and services, to deliver a host of data management services along with a web-based supply chain portal to administer service contract life cycles associated with all HP products sold by Insight in the United States. Plans are in place for the portal to support additional manufacturers including Lenovo, Cisco and IBM, along with related maintenance uplift services.

The portal, which was launched this month, is segregated into three distinct business units for Insight’s Enterprise, Small-and-Medium Business (SMB) and Public Sector sales divisions, with features that meet each group’s unique sales, management and reporting requirements. Insight sales representatives across these three divisions can now take advantage of the system to track expiring service contracts and identify new service and technology refresh sales opportunities. In addition, select end customers have been granted access to the portal to ensure that critical IT assets purchased through Insight are adequately covered by maintenance agreements.

For Steve Kedzior, senior vice president of Client Solutions for Insight North America, the new MaintenanceNet-powered portal provides the critical framework for an effective service contract and warranty management program, while also helping the company to better serve its clients. “MaintenanceNet appealed to us because of their experience, not only in building supply chain portals, but in data mining and integration techniques that enable them to present true business intelligence in those portals,” said Kedzior. “With better business intelligence, we will be able to provide greater value to our clients while improving our overall service contract and technology refresh sales.”

“It’s very gratifying when a global channel leader such as Insight recognizes the business value of our technology solutions,” said Shayne Skaff, VP, Business Development for MaintenanceNet. “By leveraging the MaintenanceNet portal to dramatically improve service renewal rates, Insight is demonstrating its commitment to HP and other partners, as well as its interest in helping its sales network achieve new levels of success.”

Key features of Insight’s MaintenanceNet portal include automated, proactive e-mail notifications in advance of expiring service contracts; reporting capabilities for tracking performance; and visibility into relationships across contracts, assets, partners and end customers for improved communication and management.
